Well we have all made it to week 4, can you believe how the time is flying by? This week in the readings I have found some very interesting things about plagiarism. I had a pretty good idea of it, but had no idea that it entailed so much red tape. I will definitely have to refer to the handbook when I'm writing my draft. Hope everyone has a great week, this is a very interesting class and we have an awesome professor.. :)

  1. I have always known about the "red tape", however, I did not know there were so many different variations of how to set up references.
I had a hard time trying to type out my reference page with Unit 4 exercise. In the KU library we had to look up stuff for our essays, but I am using regular books.
So this takes time to find other references from the KU library that I'm not going to use. And citing articles with volume’s, and page numbers. Man it's hard, and a bit confusing.
I like the old fashion way, with a book that has one author, editor, and publication date; the simpler the better.

  2. I agree, I am have so much trouble with this term, only because its set up different than my last class. My previous professor didn't really explain to much on the APA format, I had no idea that there was so much red tape involved.
